Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fufang Qingbi Granules (复方青痹颗粒), also known as Compound Qingbi granules (CQBG), is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) preparation designed for external application. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of acute gouty arthritis (AGA) with dampness-heat syndrome. The formulation contains key ingredients such as Cortex Phellodendri and Herba Tuberculate Speranskia. Its therapeutic actions involve anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and anti-gout effects, contributing to the suppression of inflammatory cytokines like IL-6, TNF-α, and IL-1β, and inhibiting apoptosis in articular chondrocytes. According to TCM principles, the combination of herbs with warm and cold properties helps to balance dampness and heat, thereby improving local microcirculation and promoting the absorption of inflammation.
