Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fufang Qinlan oral solution is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation primarily used for the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infections, specifically those diagnosed as wind-heat common cold in TCM theory. Developed and manufactured by companies such as Heilongjiang Zhenbaodao Pharmaceutical and Heilongjiang Yudi Pharmaceutical, the solution typically contains extracts from *Scutellaria baicalensis* (Huangqin), *Isatis indigotica* (Banlangen), and *Forsythia suspensa* (Lianqiao). These botanical ingredients are traditionally recognized for their heat-clearing, detoxifying, and anti-inflammatory properties. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase II clinical trials in China for pediatric use to assess its efficacy and safety in children aged 4–12 years with acute upper respiratory tract infections.
