Overview
Fufang Zaofan Wan (Compound Soap Alum Pills) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formula developed and manufactured by Xi'an Haoqijun Pharmaceutical. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of various blood disorders, including aplastic anemia, iron deficiency anemia, and thrombocytopenia. The formula is designed to stimulate bone marrow hematopoiesis, thereby increasing the levels of hemoglobin, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. It is also used to mitigate myelosuppression induced by chemotherapy, radiotherapy, or targeted therapies such as PARP inhibitors. The primary active component is soap alum (melanterite/ferrous sulfate), which is combined with herbal ingredients such as ginseng and astragalus to enhance its hematopoietic and immune-modulating effects.
