Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FUFANGJIANGYAPIAN is a fixed-dose combination drug primarily used for the treatment of hypertension, particularly in its early and mid-stages. It combines three main active ingredients: reserpine, a sympatholytic agent that depletes neurotransmitters; dihydralazine sulfate, a direct vasodilator that relaxes smooth muscle of small arteries; and hydrochlorothiazide, a diuretic that promotes the excretion of water and electrolytes. This multi-pronged approach aims to achieve synergistic blood pressure reduction. Some formulations may also include chlordiazepoxide for its anxiolytic effects and potassium chloride to mitigate diuretic-induced potassium loss. The drug is administered orally.
