Overview
FuKe Qianjin Capsules (FKQJ) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) formulation manufactured by Zhuzhou Qianjin Pharmaceutical Company Limited and approved by China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA). It is a complex herbal mixture consisting of eight primary ingredients: Philippine flemingia root (Moghaniae Radix), Cherokee rose root (Rosae Lavigatae Radix), Andrographis paniculata, Leatherleaf mahonia (Mahoniae Caulis), Zanthoxylum dissitum, Spatholobus suberectus (Spatholobi Caulis), Codonopsis pilosula (Codonopsis Radix), and Angelica sinensis (Angelicae Sinensis Radix). The formulation is indicated for various gynecological inflammatory conditions, including chronic pelvic inflammatory disease, chronic cervicitis, and chronic endometritis. Its therapeutic effect is mediated through the modulation of the TLR4/NF-κB/NLRP3 signaling pathway, which serves to inhibit inflammatory cytokine production and pyroptosis. Tianjin Medical University is currently sponsoring a Phase 4 clinical trial to evaluate the efficacy and safety of FuKe Qianjin Capsules in combination with doxycycline for the treatment of chronic endometritis in women of reproductive age, particularly those experiencing infertility or recurrent pregnancy loss.
