Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fuke Tengbai Granules is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) compound developed by Nanjing Shihao Pharmaceutical Technology Co., Ltd. for the treatment of chronic pelvic inflammatory disease (PID). The formulation is specifically indicated for patients presenting with damp-heat stasis syndrome, a common TCM diagnosis for chronic gynecological inflammation. Its primary herbal constituents include Sargentodoxa cuneata (Daxueteng) and Patrinia villosa (Baijiangcao), which are traditionally used to clear heat, resolve toxins, and dispel blood stasis. The drug works by reducing pelvic congestion and inhibiting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as TNF-alpha and various interleukins, thereby alleviating chronic pelvic pain and improving clinical symptoms. It has undergone Phase III clinical trials in China to evaluate its safety and efficacy compared to standard TCM treatments.
