Fully human CD7 CAR-T cells are an investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy targeting the CD7 antigen, which is highly expressed in T-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T-ALL) and T-lymphoblastic lymphoma (T-LBL). Developed by Beijing Boren Hospital, these cells utilize a fully human single-chain variable fragment (scFv) to minimize immunogenicity and are often derived from related donors (allogeneic) to avoid contamination with malignant T-cells and to overcome T-cell aplasia in the patient. In clinical protocols, they are frequently used as a bridge to or in combination with allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (allo-HSCT) to achieve deep remission and long-term survival in patients with relapsed or refractory T-cell malignancies.
