Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fulyu Baoxinping is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapeutic developed by Tonghua Wantong Pharmaceutical for the treatment of cardiovascular conditions. It is primarily indicated for premature ventricular contractions (PVCs) in patients with coronary heart disease (CHD). The formulation is designed based on TCM principles to address 'Qi and Yin deficiency' and 'blood stasis in the heart collaterals,' which are patterns associated with cardiac arrhythmias. The drug has been evaluated in a Phase III, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial in China (CTR20132477) to assess its efficacy in reducing the frequency of ventricular premature beats and improving clinical symptoms such as palpitations and chest tightness.
