Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fuqing Xuelian is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) formulation developed by Guangzhou Hanfang Modern Chinese Medicine Research and Development Co., Ltd. It is primarily administered as an effervescent tablet for topical vaginal use. The preparation is composed of extracts from several medicinal plants, including *Saussurea involucrata* (Snow Lotus), *Sophora flavescens* (Kushen), *Cnidium monnieri* (Shechuangzi), *Phellodendron amurense* (Huangbai), and *Stemona sessilifolia* (Baibu), along with borneol. It is indicated for the treatment of various gynecological infections, specifically bacterial vaginosis, candidal vaginitis (vulvovaginal candidiasis), and trichomonas vaginitis. The therapeutic action is attributed to the combined antimicrobial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties of its herbal constituents, which work synergistically to eliminate pathogens, restore vaginal microecological balance, and alleviate symptoms such as pruritus and abnormal discharge.
