Overview

FURESTEM-CD is an allogeneic stem cell therapy consisting of mesenchymal stem cells derived from human umbilical cord blood (UCB-MSCs). It is administered through intravenous injection and is primarily being developed for the treatment of moderate to severe Crohn's disease. The stem cells possess properties of self-proliferation, immunomodulation, and pluripotency, offering advantages over mesenchymal stem cells sourced from bone marrow or subcutaneous fat, including easier isolation and faster population doubling time.
