FUSE102

FUSE102 is an investigational oncolytic viral therapy developed by Fusix Biotech using its proprietary InFUSE platform. The drug consists of a hybrid oncolytic viral vector engineered to encode a high-affinity soluble form of the Programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1). This dual-action approach is designed to treat solid tumors by inducing direct viral-mediated lysis of cancer cells while simultaneously providing localized immune checkpoint inhibition within the tumor microenvironment. By expressing soluble PD-1 locally, FUSE102 aims to block the PD-1/PD-L1 signaling pathway, thereby rejuvenating exhausted T-cells and enhancing the systemic anti-tumor immune response. As of 2024, FUSE102 is in the IND-enabling phase of development for the treatment of various cancers.
