Drug intelligence / Profile preview
FUSE201 is an investigational oncolytic virus therapy being developed by **Fusix Biotech** using its proprietary **InFUSE platform**. The drug consists of a fusogenic oncolytic viral vector engineered to selectively replicate within and lyse cancer cells while simultaneously delivering a transgene that encodes a specific immune-stimulatory protein (referred to as "gene A"). This dual approach is designed to induce direct tumor cell death (oncolysis) and stimulate a robust, localized antitumor immune response within the tumor microenvironment. FUSE201 is currently in the preclinical stage, specifically undergoing lead optimization for the treatment of various solid tumors.
