Overview
FUSE301 is an investigational oncolytic viral cancer vaccine developed by Fusix Biotech using its proprietary InFUSE platform. The drug is designed to treat solid tumors by utilizing a viral vector that selectively replicates within cancer cells, leading to direct oncolysis. Additionally, FUSE301 is engineered to encode a specific tumor antigen, functioning as a gene therapy-based cancer vaccine to stimulate a systemic, tumor-antigen-specific immune response. This dual mechanism aims to combine the immediate debulking effect of oncolytic virotherapy with the long-term protection of an active immunotherapy. As of 2024, the program is in the preclinical stage, specifically undergoing lead optimization.
