Overview

Fushen Formula is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) granule formulation composed of several herbal ingredients: Tangerine peel, Qingpinellia, Epimedium, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Angelica, Astragalus membranaceus, Cooked rhubarb, and Guolianyu. It is being investigated for its potential to improve abdominal immune function in patients with peritoneal dialysis-associated peritonitis, primarily through intervention of intestinal flora and metabolites. The formula is administered orally as an adjunct to conventional Western medicine antibiotic therapy.
