Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Futermestotug (YH001) is an investigational recombinant, humanized IgG1-kappa monoclonal antibody that targets cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 4 (CTLA-4, CD152). By binding to CTLA-4, futermestotug blocks the inhibitory interaction of CTLA-4 with its ligands CD80 (B7-1) and CD86 (B7-2), thereby preventing the downregulation of T-cell activation and enhancing anti-tumor immune responses. Additionally, it promotes the depletion of regulatory T cells (Tregs) in the tumor microenvironment via antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC). Developed by Eucure Biopharma (a subsidiary of Biocytogen), futermestotug is being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of various solid tumors, including hepatocellular carcinoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and soft tissue sarcoma. It is also being investigated as a component of Syncromune's intratumoral combination immunotherapy SV-102 (SYNC-T).
