Overview
Fuyang Yunshu granules (Fuyang Yunshu Zhongyao Keli) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed primarily for the treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). The formula is based on the TCM principles of "supporting Yang" (Fuyang) and "regulating the pivot" (Yunshu), aimed at restoring energy balance in patients exhibiting Yang deficiency and dampness-heat syndromes. Developed and studied at the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine, the formulation is hypothesized to modulate the neuroendocrine-immune network, specifically targeting the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis and reducing systemic inflammation. Clinical research, including Phase 2 trials in China, has focused on its ability to improve fatigue scores, physical function, and quality of life in patients with persistent, unexplained exhaustion.
