Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fuzheng Nizeng Formula (FZNZ) is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) preparation derived from the classical Liujunzi Decoction. It is specifically formulated for the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis (CAG) accompanied by low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia (LGIN), which are considered precancerous lesions of gastric cancer. The formula follows the TCM principles of "Fuzheng" (strengthening the body's resistance or healthy Qi) and "Nizeng" (reversing hyperplasia/neoplasia). Pilot studies have indicated that FZNZ can promote the histological recovery of gastric mucosal atrophy and alleviate related clinical symptoms. It is currently being investigated in multicenter randomized controlled trials to evaluate its efficacy and safety compared to standard TCM treatments like Molduodan granules.
