Fuzheng Qingyu formula is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal composition developed by Yueyang Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine and the Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is specifically designed to treat dysmenorrhea in patients with adenomyosis, particularly those presenting with the TCM syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis. The formula's therapeutic strategy is based on the principles of "strengthening body resistance" (Fuzheng) to address qi deficiency and "removing blood stasis" (Qingyu) to alleviate pain and manage uterine lesions.
