Fuzheng Xiaoji pill (also known as Fuzheng Xiaoji Wan) is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by Guang'anmen Hospital, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences. It is designed based on the TCM therapeutic principle of 'strengthening the body's healthy qi and eliminating accumulation' (Fuzheng Xiaoji). The formulation is primarily being evaluated as a supportive or complementary therapy for the treatment of metastatic pancreatic cancer, particularly in combination with best supportive care, and has been studied in clinical trials in China comparing its efficacy and safety against standard chemotherapy regimens like FOLFIRINOX.
