Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Fuzheng Xiaoliu Granules II is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) herbal formulation developed by the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Chinese Medicine. It is formulated based on the principles of strengthening the body's resistance (Fuzheng) and eliminating tumors (Xiaoliu), specifically targeting deficiency of vital qi and blood stasis syndrome. The formulation is primarily investigated for the treatment of stage II hepatitis B virus (HBV)-associated hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) following comprehensive minimally invasive therapy (such as transcatheter arterial chemoembolization and radiofrequency ablation). Clinical studies suggest that Fuzheng Xiaoliu Granules II can reduce the recurrence rate, improve the quality of life, and modulate lipid metabolism and immune function in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.
