Overview
FZ-AD004 is an investigational antitumor antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Shanghai Fudan-Zhangjiang Bio-Pharmaceutical for the treatment of advanced solid tumors. It consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting human trophoblast cell surface glycoprotein antigen (TROP2), conjugated to a cytotoxic payload via the BB05 platform. The payload acts as a DNA topoisomerase I inhibitor and is released in lysosomes after internalization into tumor cells, leading to tumor cell death. The drug is being evaluated in Phase I clinical trials for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced or metastatic solid tumors. Indications under investigation include lung cancer, breast cancer, gastric cancer, esophageal cancer, colorectal cancer, urothelial cancer, bladder cancer and endometrial cancer[1][2][4][5].
