G-Pump

**G-Pump** is Xeris' investigational liquid-stable **glucagon** formulation designed for **continuous or bolus subcutaneous delivery by infusion pump** rather than as a conventional reconstituted rescue injection. In public clinical-trial records, it was studied as **G-Pump glucagon infusion** in people with **type 1 diabetes** to characterize pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics versus **GlucaGen**, and in **post-bariatric hypoglycemia** to evaluate pump-delivered glucagon for prevention of hypoglycemic episodes. Mechanistically, the active drug is glucagon, a **glucagon receptor agonist** that raises plasma glucose primarily by stimulating hepatic glycogenolysis and gluconeogenesis. The program was developed by **Xeris Pharmaceuticals/Xeris Biopharma** as part of its room-temperature-stable glucagon technology platform for mini-dose and pump-based glucagon delivery.
