Drug intelligence / Profile preview
G4-1 is a non-peptide small molecule proteasome inhibitor under investigation for the treatment of solid tumors. Unlike current proteasome inhibitors, which are peptides and have low in vivo stability, G4-1 is designed to display high in vivo stability, making it a promising candidate for cancer therapy. Preclinical data showed promising anti-tumor activity and a survival study in mice is being conducted to determine its potential benefit over existing marketed drugs for solid tumors.
