Drug intelligence / Profile preview
[Ga-68]MTP220 is a radiopharmaceutical diagnostic agent developed by Molecular Theranostics. It is in preclinical development and designed for use in positron emission tomography (PET) imaging. The compound consists of gallium-68, a positron-emitting radionuclide, chelated to a synthetic peptide that targets specific tumor markers. Its primary therapeutic area is neoplasms (cancers), where it enables the visualization of tumors expressing the relevant molecular target. As with other Ga-68 labeled agents, it works by binding to its target on tumor cells and allowing PET imaging to localize disease sites.
