Ga68-Dolacga is a radiopharmaceutical diagnostic agent used in positron emission tomography (PET) imaging, primarily developed for the evaluation of liver reserve function and tumor response in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma. It consists of a peptide chelated to gallium-68, a positron-emitting radionuclide. The agent is designed to target specific receptors or tissues within the liver, enabling functional imaging that can assess hepatic reserve before and after interventions such as proton therapy or surgery. Clinical studies have demonstrated its high liver-targeting properties and favorable safety profile[3][8]. The mechanism of action involves selective uptake by hepatic tissue, allowing quantitative assessment of regional liver function.
