Overview

**GAA peptide vaccine** is an investigational multipeptide cancer vaccine developed at the University of Pittsburgh and Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh for pediatric gliomas. It contains HLA-A2-restricted peptide epitopes derived from **EphA2**, **interleukin-13 receptor alpha-2**, and **survivin**, formulated in Montanide ISA-51 with a tetanus-toxoid helper peptide; it is administered subcutaneously with separately administered poly-ICLC immunoadjuvant. The vaccine is intended to prime antigen-specific cytotoxic T-lymphocyte responses against glioma cells presenting these tumor-associated antigens. Pediatric pilot studies evaluated the regimen in newly diagnosed malignant brainstem glioma, newly diagnosed non-brainstem high-grade glioma, recurrent low-grade glioma, and recurrent high-grade glioma.
