Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GAIA-125 is an antibody-armed natural killer (NK)-like cell therapy currently in preclinical development by GAIA BioMedicine Inc. The therapy is built upon the company's proprietary GAIA-102 platform, which utilizes highly activated and expanded NK-like cells derived from healthy donor peripheral blood. GAIA-125 is specifically engineered by arming these NK-like cells with a monoclonal antibody directed against an undisclosed tumor-associated antigen, referred to as Target E. This approach is designed to leverage the innate cytotoxic potential of NK cells and enhance their specificity through antibody-mediated targeting, allowing the cells to more effectively identify and eliminate tumor cells expressing the specific target antigen.
