Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GAIA-202 is an investigational natural killer (NK)-like cell therapy being developed by GAIA BioMedicine. It is part of a pluripotent stem cell-derived NK platform, where the therapeutic cells are derived from either embryonic stem cells (ESCs) or induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). Unlike the company's lead candidate GAIA-102, which uses donor-derived NK-like cells, GAIA-202 aims to provide an off-the-shelf, scalable source of NK cells. The specific tumor targets and primary indications for GAIA-202 are currently under evaluation (to be determined), and the program is in the preclinical stage of development.
