galantamine + trospium

Galantamine + trospium is a combination of two small molecule drugs used together primarily in elderly patients who have both Alzheimer's disease (AD) and urge urinary incontinence (UUI). Galantamine is a reversible, competitive inhibitor of acetylcholinesterase, increasing acetylcholine levels and also acting as an allosteric modulator of nicotinic cholinergic receptors.
