Drug intelligence / Profile preview
The Galliator Gallium-68 Generator is a Germanium-68/Gallium-68 (68Ge/68Ga) radioisotope generator developed by Chengdu New Radiomedicine Technology. It is designed to produce Gallium-68 (as Gallium Chloride [68Ga] solution) via elution, which is a positron-emitting radioactive isotope used for diagnostic radiopharmaceutical imaging, specifically positron emission tomography (PET) scanning. The generator utilizes a modified titanium dioxide (TiO2) sorbent column to achieve high adsorption performance and separation efficiency, maintaining a low Germanium-68 breakthrough (< 0.001%). The eluted Gallium-68 is used to radiolabel various targeting ligands, such as peptides and monoclonal antibodies, for the PET-based diagnosis of tumors, including neuroendocrine tumors and prostate cancer.
