Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Galminor** is a prescription ophthalmic fixed-dose combination marketed by Offhealth. It contains the aminoglycoside antibacterial **netilmicin** at 3 mg/mL and the corticosteroid anti-inflammatory **dexamethasone** at 1 mg/mL as dexamethasone sodium phosphate. It is supplied as an eye-drop solution in multidose and single-dose presentations for inflammatory conditions of the anterior eye segment, including postoperative inflammation, when bacterial infection is present or considered a risk. Netilmicin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis through binding to the bacterial 30S ribosomal subunit, while dexamethasone activates glucocorticoid receptors to suppress ocular inflammation.
