**Galsome-MOMP** is a preclinical, nucleoside-modified mRNA vaccine candidate against *Chlamydia trachomatis*. It consists of lipid nanoparticles termed Galsomes that co-encapsulate mRNA encoding the *C. trachomatis* major outer membrane protein and the glycolipid immunopotentiator alpha-galactosylceramide. Following intramuscular administration, the mRNA is intended to drive major outer membrane protein expression in antigen-presenting cells and elicit antigen-specific T-cell responses, while alpha-galactosylceramide promotes CD1d-dependent invariant natural killer T-cell activation. The candidate induced T-cell responses in piglets and has been evaluated in preclinical large-animal studies.
