Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Galsome-NEO** is an investigational, personalized neoantigen-targeted cancer vaccine comprising neoepitope-encoding mRNA formulated in lipid nanoparticles and adjuvanted with the glycolipid alpha-galactosylceramide. The mRNA is intended to drive presentation of patient-specific tumor neoantigens and induce antitumor T-cell responses, while alpha-galactosylceramide activates invariant natural killer T cells through CD1d-mediated presentation. It is being developed at Ghent University and Ghent University Hospital for locally advanced unresectable PD-L1-negative non-small cell lung cancer.
