Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**GamEvac-Lyo** is a lyophilized, heterologous viral-vector vaccine for prevention of Ebola virus disease. It uses recombinant vesicular stomatitis virus and recombinant human adenovirus serotype 5 vectors that express the glycoprotein of Zaire ebolavirus Makona; the prime-boost regimen is intended to induce Ebola glycoprotein-specific humoral and cellular immune responses. It was developed and manufactured by the Gamaleya Research Center and has been registered by the Russian Ministry of Health for adult Ebola prevention.
