ganetespib + docetaxel

Ganetespib + docetaxel is a combination therapy investigated primarily for advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), particularly adenocarcinoma. Ganetespib is a small molecule inhibitor of heat shock protein 90 (Hsp90), a molecular chaperone involved in the stabilization and function of multiple oncogenic proteins. By inhibiting Hsp90, ganetespib disrupts several signaling pathways critical for cancer cell survival and proliferation[2][4][5]. Docetaxel is a taxane-class chemotherapeutic agent that promotes microtubule assembly and prevents their depolymerization, thereby inhibiting mitosis and inducing apoptosis in rapidly dividing cells[1][6].
