Overview
Ganmiao Kangning granules is a traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) candidate developed by the Beijing Beiyi Modern Traditional Chinese Medicine Technology Development Center for the treatment of the common cold, specifically the wind-heat pattern. It is a botanical formulation designed to alleviate symptoms such as fever, sore throat, and nasal congestion. The drug underwent a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled Phase 2 clinical trial in China to evaluate its safety and efficacy across different dosage levels in adult patients. As a granule formulation, it is intended for oral administration and follows traditional principles of clearing heat and expelling wind.
