ganzaoning

Ganzaoning is a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) herbal formulation, typically administered as a granule, developed by Shanghai Changhai Hospital (also known as the First Affiliated Hospital of the Naval Medical University). It is primarily indicated for the treatment of chronic liver conditions, specifically chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). The formulation is designed to reduce liver fat content and improve liver-related biochemical parameters. As a multi-herb TCM product, its therapeutic effect is likely mediated through multiple pathways, including the modulation of lipid metabolism and the reduction of hepatic inflammation.
