Ganzaoning granule

Ganzaoning granule is an orally administered multi-herb traditional Chinese medicine formulation developed in China for fatty liver disease and related chronic liver conditions. It was derived from the earlier Ganfujian formula and has been evaluated clinically in a prospective randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled 24-week study in people with chronic hepatitis B virus infection and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease. Its proposed biological effects on hepatic steatosis, inflammation, and fibrosis are based primarily on preclinical, phytochemical, and network-pharmacology evidence; a definitive clinically established molecular target has not been identified.
