Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GAPVAC-101 is an actively personalized therapeutic cancer vaccine regimen developed by the Glioma Actively Personalized Vaccine Consortium (GAPVAC), led by Immatics and BioNTech, for the treatment of newly diagnosed glioblastoma. The regimen consists of two personalized peptide-based vaccines administered sequentially: APVAC1, which targets non-mutated glioblastoma-associated antigens (GAAs) selected from a pre-manufactured warehouse based on the patient's tumor expression profile and HLA-ligandome, and APVAC2, which is custom-synthesized to target patient-specific tumor neoantigens (neoepitopes) identified via next-generation sequencing. The vaccines are administered with GM-CSF and poly-ICLC as adjuvants alongside standard temozolomide chemotherapy.
