Overview
GastimunHP Plus is a dietary supplement designed to support the treatment of gastritis and peptic ulcers caused by *Helicobacter pylori* infection. It is a combination product containing OvalgenHP (a specific chicken egg yolk immunoglobulin Y [IgY] antibody targeting *H. pylori* urease) and heat-killed *Lactobacillus johnsonii* No. 1088 (LJ1088). The IgY antibody binds to and inhibits *H. pylori* urease, preventing the bacteria from neutralizing gastric acid and colonizing the stomach lining, while also causing bacterial agglutination. The *L. johnsonii* component acts synergistically to reduce gastric acid secretion, inhibit *H. pylori* growth, and support a healthy gut microbiome. GastimunHP Plus is developed by EW Nutrition Japan and distributed in Vietnam by Dong Do Pharmaceutical.
