It combines four active pharmaceutical ingredients: **magaldrate** (an antacid providing rapid and prolonged neutralization of gastric acid with a buffering effect, adjusting gastric pH to the optimal 3–5 range), **sodium alginate** (forms a durable "raft" barrier at the top of gastric contents, reducing acid reflux), **simethicone** (a non-systemic defoaming agent that decreases surface tension of gas bubbles, aiding in gas expulsion), and **sodium bicarbonate** (rapidly neutralizes gastric acidity and enhances the formation and buoyancy of the alginate "raft") [2][4][7]. It is primarily indicated for adult and pediatric patients (over 6 years) experiencing symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux and hyperacidity, including during pregnancy.
