Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Gazhaluoshu is a Traditional Mongolian Medicine (TMM) gel formulation developed by Inner Mongolia Fudan Mengyao Biotechnology for the treatment of diabetic peripheral neuropathy (DPN) and diabetic painful neuropathy. The drug is designed to address the "vessel obstruction syndrome" (脉络痹阻证) commonly associated with DPN in traditional medicine frameworks. It is administered topically as a gel to improve neurological symptoms and signs. Clinical development in China has included Phase II trials (such as CTR20140484) to evaluate its safety and therapeutic efficacy in patients suffering from DPN-related pain and sensory loss.
