Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GB-hMG is a proprietary investigational human menopausal gonadotropin (hMG) being developed by Granata Bio Corporation for the treatment of infertility in women undergoing assisted reproductive technology (ART). As a biologic gonadotropin hormone preparation, it contains both follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and luteinizing hormone (LH) activity. These hormones target gonadotropin receptors on ovarian cells to stimulate follicular development and ovulation. The drug is currently being evaluated in the pivotal Phase 3 GRACE study (Human Menopausal Gonadotropin Research in Infertility Assessing Cumulative Live Birth with Frozen Transfer), which assesses its efficacy and safety for ovarian stimulation and cumulative live birth in women undergoing IVF. Granata Bio has entered into a royalty purchase agreement with Gedeon Richter for this hMG program.
