Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GB236 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Antibody Therapeutics and Genor Biopharma for the treatment of HER2-expressing solid tumors. The molecule consists of a monoclonal antibody targeting the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) conjugated to a cytotoxic payload. GB236 is designed to selectively bind to HER2-overexpressing cancer cells, leading to internalization of the complex and subsequent release of the payload to induce cell death. This targeted mechanism aims to provide a potent anti-tumor effect while minimizing the systemic toxicity typically associated with conventional chemotherapy.
