Overview

GB241 is an investigational recombinant humanized monoclonal antibody developed by Genor Biopharma and its subsidiary Genrix (Shanghai) Biopharmaceutical Co., Ltd. as a biosimilar to daratumumab. It targets CD38, a transmembrane glycoprotein highly expressed on the surface of multiple myeloma cells. GB241 induces tumor cell death through multiple immune-mediated mechanisms, including antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC), complement-dependent cytotoxicity (CDC), and antibody-dependent cellular phagocytosis (ADCP). It is currently being evaluated in clinical trials for the treatment of relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma, particularly in combination with other therapeutic agents such as the BCMA×CD3 bispecific antibody GR1803.
