Overview

GBM6-AD is an allogeneic tumor lysate vaccine derived from a specific glioblastoma stem cell line (GBM6). It is designed to stimulate a multi-antigenic immune response against glioma-associated antigens. The vaccine is typically administered with adjuvants such as poly-ICLC or imiquimod, or loaded into autologous dendritic cells to enhance immunogenicity. Clinical studies have evaluated its safety and ability to induce tumor-infiltrating CD8+ T-cell responses in patients with low-grade gliomas, recurrent high-grade gliomas, and diffuse midline gliomas. By presenting a broad spectrum of tumor-specific antigens, GBM6-AD aims to overcome the genetic elusiveness and infiltrative nature of malignant brain tumors.
