Drug intelligence / Profile preview
GBP511 is a universal coronavirus (pan-sarbecovirus) vaccine candidate developed by SK bioscience in collaboration with the University of Washington's Institute for Protein Design. It utilizes self-assembling protein nanoparticle technology to present viral antigens, specifically targeting the sarbecovirus family to provide broad protection against SARS-CoV-2 and related viruses. The program is supported by the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) and is being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials, often in combination with the adjuvant CAS-1.
