Overview
GBP560 is an mRNA-based vaccine candidate developed by SK bioscience for the prevention of Japanese encephalitis virus (JEV) infection. Developed in partnership with the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), GBP560 serves as a prototype to validate an mRNA vaccine platform designed for rapid response to future pandemic threats, often referred to as "Disease X," under the "100 Days Mission" framework. The vaccine is currently being evaluated in Phase I/II clinical trials to assess its safety, reactogenicity, and immunogenicity in healthy adults. The collaboration aims to ensure equitable global access, prioritizing vaccine supply for low- and middle-income countries.
