Overview

**GBR 1372** is a bispecific monoclonal antibody (EGFRxCD3) developed by Glenmark Pharmaceuticals using their proprietary BEAT® technology platform. It targets EGFR-expressing cancer cells by simultaneously binding epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) on tumor cells and CD3 on T cells, redirecting cytotoxic T lymphocytes to induce antibody-dependent cell cytotoxicity (ADCC) and tumor cell killing. Notably, preclinical data demonstrate activity against EGFR-positive cancers independent of RAS-family mutations, which confer resistance to standard EGFR inhibitors, positioning it for potential use in lung, colorectal, and squamous cell cancers.[1][3][5]
