GC Flu Quadrivalent

GC Flu Quadrivalent (GC3110A) is an inactivated, split-virion quadrivalent influenza vaccine developed by Green Cross Corporation (GC Biopharma). It is produced using fertilized chicken eggs and contains purified hemagglutinin (HA) antigens from four influenza virus strains: two influenza A subtypes (H1N1 and H3N2) and two influenza B lineages (Yamagata and Victoria). Each 0.5 mL dose contains 15 µg of HA per strain, totaling 60 µg. The vaccine is designed to provide broader protection against seasonal influenza compared to trivalent vaccines by including both circulating B lineages. It is approved for use in South Korea and has been evaluated in clinical trials for various age groups, including infants and adults.
